Year 12 Cookery Demonstration

Year 12 GCSE Home Economics : Food and Nutrition pupils had the pleasure and privilege of a cookery demonstration by Wendy Donaldson from the Livestock and Meat Commission (LMC).
This provided pupils with a valuable insight into the use of local Farm Quality Assured Red meat along with its nutritional value, versatility and the many job opportunities within the food industry. Our Year 12s thoroughly enjoyed the preparation, cooking and off course the sampling of the dish made which should be an aid to them with their forthcoming GCSE Practical Examinations.
