As principal of Newtownhamilton High School, I would like to thank you for taking the time to view our website, which we hope will give you a flavour of the distinctive advantages and Christian ethos of our school. My staff and I believe that the quality and opportunities which we offer provide a uniquely personal educational experience for pupils aged 11- 16. Considerable development has taken place in recent years regarding the provision of a much wider range of options and courses suited to the individual needs of the pupils enrolled in the school. Our collaborations with Southern Regional College and St. Paul's High School Bessbrook ensure that the widest possible range of career options are available for all our pupils, whether they remain in Newtownhamilton High 5 days per week or engage in the Vocational Enhancement Programme (VEP) initiative every Thursday.
