New Hockey Season

Thank you to Killicomaine JHS for welcoming 8 teams to compete in this highly competitive and exciting U13 Division 2 tournament.
Once again a Newtown squad of determination and no doubt skill with teamwork took us to the final to play a strong Dromore side. Pitch perfect passing among the team assisted Phoebe Starrett to take us to a 1-0 lead. Unfortunately for us Dromore succeeded in winning numerous penalty corners and successfully scoring 2 goals. A short final of only ten minutes left it difficult to win this back.
Not to worry. A superb start to the new hockey season and a big well done to each and every Newtown player.
