Newtown in NI Hockey Cup Final

 

Congratulations to our Under 14 Hockey Team as they progressed to the NI Cup Final following a 7-0 victory over Castlederg High School in Dungannon this afternoon. 

 

Goal scorers were Abbie McBride (2), Lily McBride, Lauren McMurdie, Isabella Dale, Molly Patterson and Charlotte Flanagan. The girls will now travel to Playball Stormont on Thursday 14th March to play Kilkeel High School. 

 

A remarkable achievement for our small school – we have limited numbers to pick from but those selected represent their school with huge pride. Well done to all the players and Coach Miss Anderson.
