A Good Day for Sport at Newtownhamilton High

Yesterday (Thurs 4 Nov) was a good day for sport at Newtownhamilton High.
Firstly, our Under 14 football team defeated Tandragee Junior High School 3-0 in the Mid-Ulster Schools’ League with goals from Zach Donaldson, Matthew Johnston and Harry Copeland. Then in the afternoon our Under 13 hockey team recorded an impressive 2-1 away win at Newry High School with the goals coming from Heidi Patton and Lauren McMurdie.
Well done to the players from both teams (next time we will get team photos) and also many thanks to coaches Mr Black and Miss Anderson.
It is great to see our pupils playing competitive sport again after an absence of 18 months.
